Factoids: The 30th Annual Wyoming Men's State Bowling Tournament held the Team Event at A&W Drive-In Bowling Lanes in Thermopolis in conjunction with the Doubles & Singles Event at Bronco Lanes in Worland, Wyoming.
The tournament ran from February 18th through April 16th, 1978.
The tournament director was J. D. Myres, the chairman for the team event was Dave Hammond Jr. and the chairman for the doubles and singles was Frank Wootton.
The Scratch Singles was won by Ken Gregary from Rock Springs with a 681.
The Scratch Doubles was won by John Mason and Rex Wells from Laramie with a 1182.
The Scratch Team was won by Cheyenne Rookies from Cheyenne with a 2928.
The Scratch All Events was won by Ted Anderson from Laramie with a 1820.
The Handicap Singles was won by William "Skip" Patience from Casper with a 722.
The Handicap Doubles was won by Mike Lajeunesse and Leland St. Clair from Fort Washakie with a 1310.
The Handicap Team was won by Coor's from Rawlins/Sinclair with a 3163.
The Handicap All Events was won by Jim Sheely from Rock Springs with a 2005.
